Grade II listed barn conversion

The number of existing windows/ openings and first floor areas (or evidence of first floors) means that the barn can be converted to a dwelling without compromising the integrity of the barn, significantly changing the character of the building, and without the loss of any important features. The barn has its own setting, away from the main house. The garden cob wall forms an enclosed garden and the road frontage allows separate access. The large double height space retains the spatial qualities of a barn, giving drama and feeling of openness.
After lengthy planning negotiations, listed building and planning permission was granted for conversion of the building to a 5 bedroom dwelling in September 2018.
