New dwelling - Known previously as "Gledswood". As the site for the replacement dwelling is set on the edge of Dartmoor, within the National Park, a sensitive, vernacular design was required.
Replacement dwelling - The remote plot, in the North Devon countryside, with no near neighbours and panoramic views allowed the design to be uncompromisingly contemporary.
Conversion - The farmhouse and outbuilding is Grade II listed and typical of many of Devon’s dwellings; rendered cob construction with small casement windows and a slate pitched roof.
